Bioepidem Research Consultants cc, was founded in 2009 with Head Quarters in Richards Bay, KwaZulu Natal. Bioepidem is a prominent research management and capacity development organization. We have a significant presence in South Africa operating in all provinces and extending our services across the Continent with additional branches in Western Cape, Gauteng and the Freestate. Bioepidem Research consultants is a 100% black women owned business.

Dr Mammusa Lekoa
Founder, CEO
My journey into research and social engagement facilitation started over three decades ago. During my tenure at the Research Institution in KwaZulu natal I worked along esteemed researchers as a Policy Liaison Manager. This opened my eyes deeper into the world of population and health research and its implications to policy and community development. I dove right in and never looked back. I made sure I developed myself in various aspects of research including obtaining my PhD in Development Studies. I have made it unique Bioepidem Research Consultants' vision to create a comprehensive research, monitoring and evaluation; and social engagement facilitation solutions for an array of clientele. I am dedicated to making sure that each project we undertake turns into an investment for each client.
I hold PhD in Development Studies (UNIZULU), Master of Arts in Population Studies (UKZN), BTech in Environmental Health (DUT), Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education (UKZN). I am experienced Social Engagement/ Public Engagement Facilitator. I have an extensive knowledge working in higher education, in rural communities, community development, public health and working with Industries. I also worked with traditional leadership and political leaders in several projects.
